Apple Picking Field Trips

The Orchard at Doc Waters Cidery is home to over 30 different varieties of apples, and is the perfect spot for your Fall Field Trips!

Dates and Times

Available on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays during September & October, these field trips are made for groups of at least 20 participants, and are a fantastic choice for schools, daycares, corporate outings, and more!

There are 3 arrival time slots to choose from: 10am, 11am, or 12pm, and you are welcome to stay at the Orchard for as long as your group would like.

Cost

Field Trips at Doc Waters are $10 per participant. All guests, including parents, chaperones, volunteers, etc. should be counted. Children under 2 years old do not need to be included UNLESS they will be picking apples.

Reservations can be made by paying for your group in full via credit card. Any adjustments to your numbers on the day of will either be charged or refunded (unless you go below the 20 person minimum, in which case you will be charged for 20 people). If you cannot pay with a credit card and will instead need an invoice or to pay by check, please email us at info@docwaterscidery.com for accommodations

Field Trips Include…

  • 1/4 peck bag for each participant to fill with fresh picked apples from our orchard
  • Learning about our Orchard and the growing process from an Orchard employee
  • You are welcome to stay and picnic, we have lots of picnic tables!
  • If you reserve a trip September 4-13, you are welcome to travel to Butler’s Orchard’s Farm Park after your time at Doc Waters to enjoy their Farm Park (playground equipment, farm animals, etc.). Butler’s Orchard is approximately 2 miles away from Doc Waters. Trips scheduled on these dates ONLY are able to visit the Butler’s Orchard Farm Park. There is no play area at Doc Waters.
